pregnancybyline?>by Pat Lovejoy

It is no secret that a lot of couples have issues with fertility, and are right now searching the internet for natural home remedies for infertility. The reason why this issue is unaddressed so often has to do with the fact that conventional treatments can be of themselves painful and dangerous, without any real guarantees and frequently very expensive.

In truth, there are a lot of reasons why a woman may not be fertile and some women will have a lot of frustrations as they visit doctor after doctor getting negative tests for all physical causes of infertility but still being unable to conceive. In fact, there is a multitude of ways that a woman?s fertility level can decrease and she may not be aware of many of them.

It is no secret that alcohol affects the fertility of a woman in many undesirable ways. Alcohol can decrease chances of getting pregnant, but worse than that, it can also cause serious birth defects. It is very important that any woman who wants to have a baby avoid drinking any alcohol whatsoever, as even a small amount can cause issues.

Another commonly consumed drink is coffee which contains caffeine. It has been found in some studies that caffeine, which is contained not only in coffee but also in many carbonated soft drinks and energy drinks, can decrease the fertility level of a woman by a high percentage. For this reason, it is a good idea that a woman who is trying to get pregnant avoids both alcohol and coffee.

Along with avoiding undesirable substances such as caffeine and alcohol, it is important that a woman makes sure that her body is well taken care of and as healthy as possible. There are many vitamins and nutrients which work with the body?s reproductive system and lacking one or all of these can make it hard for a woman to get pregnant. Vitamin C, for example, is essential to a healthy immune system.

Nitric oxide is the second of these three essential nutrients and many commonly offered vitamin supplements at health stores can help a woman in getting their recommended dose of this substance. Nitric oxide helps by directing more blood flow to the reproductive organs. Folic acid is another commonly prescribed vitamin which does not only boost fertility but can also help the unborn baby be healthier as well.

Women who are trying to become pregnant are recommended to consume at least seven servings of fruits and vegetables. Of these servings, several should be focused onto folic acid. Foods which contain folic acid are broccoli, spinach, and lentils. Fruits such as oranges, papaya, kiwi, and cantaloupe are very high in Vitamin C and also should be consumed. Along with this, it is important to eat whole grain foods and drink plenty of fluids.

When it comes to natural home remedies for infertility, it is important to consider the diet of the person affected as what a person eats will affect how the body responds to the regular fertility cycle and the chances that a person in question may get pregnant and carry a healthy child to term.
